I bought this square Wrangler shirt many years ago in a second hand store. After wearing it for several years and having no money for new clothes as usual, it was about time to modify it. Some patches here, leopard neck there, paint any goddam where,...and voilà, a new self made shirt ready to hit the dirty streets of downtown Barcelona. Don't forget to put a few studs.

I think high top leather converse is the most perfect shoe in the world. Can you name some other that fits such different cultures at the same time? Goth, Metal, Punk, Posh, you name it. They all wear them. But that they are the best doesn't mean they can't be improved!!

One Hundred Punks

Olen aina tykännyt erilaisista eläinkuvoista. Joskus taisin jopa omistaa housut, jotka oli tehty kokonaan lehmäkuviollisesta kankaasta (nykyään lähinnä nolona muistellen).Tahdoin uutta imettä mustille pillifarkuilleni, joten ompelin sivuun hieman eläinkuviokangasta, lisäsin salmiakinmuotoisia niittejä, ompelin vetoketjun toiseen lahkeeseen ja maalasin yhden legendaarisen punk bändin nimen toiseen reiteen. Vaikka kyseinen bändi ei levyttänyt kuin muutaman levyn, soi soittimessani silti heidän biisinsä One Hundred Punks.

Kukaan ei ole täydellinen, ja mitä tulee ompeluun, en varsinkaan minä. Silti olen tyytyväinen tähän takkiin, jonka tekemiseen vierähti aika paljon aikaa. Muuten omeplu oli kivaa, mutta aina kaikista v-mäisintä on niittien kiinnittäminen. Hommasin siihen tarkoitetun työkalunkin, mutta se ei asiaa kauheasti auttanut..
